Crypto Currency Centralized Exchanges
Use of 3rd party.
A Centralized Exchange is the use of a 3rd party online platform that allows their users to buy and sell assets. They are the most common platforms used due to the convenience of the services provided. Using a 3rd party service basically means using a company which provides the assistance you need to perform transactions. The reason why users gravitate to centralized exchanges is because they usually offer security and monitoring for the users assets. Especially since cryptocurrency users often like to store their crypto in wallets which require private keys... if the private key is lost or forgotten then there is no way to retrieve your assets.
(This is the most convenient way but not really the cryptocurrency vision... the vision is decentralization)
